Landslide, Taplejung

On 11th June 2015 west part of Taplejung was effected by landslide. 5 vdcs of Taplejung namely: Khokling, Thinglabu, Liwang, Lingtep and Khamlung are worse affected. 115 houses of 5 vdcs were completely washed away. On 17-Jun-15 with close coordination of Yeti foundation Nepal, District Disaster Relief Committee and Central/District Child Welfare Board Taplejung distributed Rice 3450 kgs, beaten rice 580kg, dal 900 kg and wai wai 121 box to 115 houses of 5 vdcs.
